	March 2012 Aurora Kakadu Klash The Aurora Kakadu Klash is the only fishing competition held in Kakadu National Park. Fishing takes place on the South Alligator River & is conducted on a catch, photograph & release basis.
	3rd June - 6th October 2012 Free Guided Walks, Talks & Activities During the months of June through to Ocotber, join rangers to learn about the landscapes, wildlife, local history and culture of Kakadu National Park.
	September 12 Kakadu Mahbilil Festival Kakadu celebrates the annual Mahbilil Festival, held at Lake Jabiru where Aboriginal people from through out Kakadu come together and enjoy a range of festivals including popular bands, traditional dancing, market stalls and bush foods. Visitors are welcome. A great event.
